Job Purpose Part of the global team and located in China, the Head of portfolio and content plays a pivotal role between the BrandCo (Chivas Brothers) & the China market. The purpose of this role is to: 1. Portfolio: · Operate as a key business partner for the PR China ME and Chivas Brothers primary point of contact · Engage the and drive strategic brands behind RS, TGL and Chivas brand & commercial strategic roadmap to secure long-term sustainable value growth. · Enhance market centricity within the Chivas Brothers organization, fueling Chivas Brothers global business strategy with strong local consumer and business insights. · Deploy initiatives at scale & inspire local teams to activate with excellence. Ensure consistency and robustness of local developments/plans. · Pilot and monitor the performance across the portfolio and PR China ME 2. Content: There will be 3 direct reports: 1 looking at RS ,1 looking at TGL and 1 looking at Chivas; creating, adapting and broadcasting the content created in China to feeder markets · Ensure that the Brand strategy is echoing and relevant to China · Contribute to fuel the global team with locally relevant consumer centric insights · Develop superior creative content for the Drive Market as well as feeder markets · Enhance consumer centricity fueling creative development with strong local cultural insights · Ensure global brand consistency with the communication platform, standards & guidelines Accountabilities 1. Play as a strategic partner to PRC to enhance portfolio strategy by empowering role of strategic brands including Royal Salut, TGL and Chivas in terms of consumer recruitment strategy, key occasions & sources of business in China 2. Lead communication campaign fueled by local culture by developing local creative assets based on global brand strategy and big idea. Those assets can include: o Local ATL Campaign (all media – on & offline) o Priority touchpoints o Strategic Limited editions (i.e. subsequent to communications campaign) and related assets NB: Big idea, Brand world, visual ID& assets, global sponsorship content, global brand pages, global app & innovation are handled by Chivas Brothers Brand Team 3. Support local marketing teams for other assets creation (e.g.: BTL, activation, amplification) subsequent to the communications campaign 4. Lead the creative process and manage concept development and relationship with creative agencies and partners (legal & cost control): global agency and/or its local affiliate, local specialist agencies, local contact of global partner or local partners, Studio etc. 5. Lead the assets production and is responsible for delivery of assets on time and at the right level of quality Constantly Liaise with Chivas Brothers Brand Teams and PR China ME senior management to ensure strategy and development are on-brand and on-strategy Requirement Academic & Professional experience required · Degree Master’s Degree · Professional experience : Min. 12 years in related fields · Result oriented and strategic thinking capabilities: capacity to understand the global picture · Several experience working in China, understanding of local consumers, MOCs, strong understanding of wine & spirits category. · Proven track record in developing global and/or local creative campaigns with successful creative execution preferably in lifestyle or luxury brands. · Strong experience in leading creative development with multiple stakeholders, including agencies · Mandarin fluent proficiency + English fluency Marketing functional skillset · Business intelligence (Mastery) · Portfolio & Brand Strategy (Mastery) · Insights into actions (Mastery) · Influencing & Partnering (Mastery) Leadership Attributes & Competencies The 9 competencies in bold below are mission critical for this role to drive Pernod Ricard’s marketing transformation.
